Elevate your smile’s appeal with a diverse range of cosmetic dentistry services in London, ON
At the office of Drs Giulio Spagnuolo and Dave Charrette in London, ON, cosmetic dentistry services are an inclusive pursuit, not an exclusive privilege. We Smile Dentistry gets to know your smile (and you!) to help you make an informed decision. So, treatment suits your goals, needs, lifestyle, and budget.
Whitening for a lifetime
Drs Spagnuolo and Charrette will determine whether you are a great candidate for our lifetime teeth whitening program. If your teeth and gums are healthy, we’ll customise a whitening tray to your mouth. The tray is filled with a prescription-strength whitening gel. When slipped over your teeth and worn as directed, the tray delivers the gel to your teeth predictably, comfortably, safely, and evenly. During routine hygiene appointments, we’ll provide you with a free touch-up gel.
Not all discoloration is amenable to professional teeth whitening. Stubborn intrinsic or internal stains may be disguised with either direct composite veneers or indirect porcelain veneers. Also known as dental bonding, composite veneers and porcelain veneers cover up a number of other imperfections, including:
- Modest chips and fractures
- Gaps and minor spacing issues
- Other signs of wear and tear
Additionally, veneers may be used to alter the shape and size of a tooth. While the cosmetic goals may be the same, their methods differ. Direct veneers involve applying a dental resin directly to the teeth. Indirect veneers involve applying thin layers of porcelain that are designed to replace damaged tooth enamel to the fronts of the teeth. We Smile Dentistry is happy to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each option with you during a consultation.
Alternatives for every smile
No single treatment is “universally appropriate.” Furthermore, patients who need to restore their oral health and healthy function can benefit from our cosmetic restorations. We offer tooth-colored (metal-free) fillings, as well as crowns, bridges, and dentures that look natural. Plus, more severe misalignment or bite issues may require orthodontic treatment, such as Invisalign® aligners that are transparent and blend in with the smile.
